  • Address certificates: Pima County Development Services no longer issues certificates for addresses. Addresses shown to be in active status within this online system are deemed valid.
  • Address status: Addresses in “active” status are currently in use and deemed valid.  “Pending” signals there is a problem with the address which needs to be resolved by Pima County Development Services. “Inactive” or “retired” addresses are no longer in use. Suite numbers containing an asterisk (*) indicates inactive suites.
  • Condominiums: Since condos constitute multiple parcels on the same building address, address verification can only be conducted via parcel search query.
  • Parcel numbers: Displayed parcel numbers may not be correct if lot has split or if condominium.  If you cannot locate correct parcel number for address, please check at http://www.asr.co.pima.az.us.
  • Address report display: If an address consists of multiple buildings or units, each building or unit will display as an individual address item. These items are organized first by building number (if applicable) and then by the units contained within that building. Note that due to system limitations, these items display by the order in which they are entered within our system and so may be out of sequence within the report.
  • History: If history is available, it will only display on the first entry of multiple entry addresses (buildings/units) for that address, even if the change affects other building or unit numbers within that address. Note that if no history is available, address permit history prior to this date may be available by searching permit activities at http://www.pimaxpress.com/Building for unincorporated Pima County and towns, and www.tucsonaz.gov/PRO/pro/devactionsrch.jsp for the City of Tucson.  Address location mapping may be viewed at http://gis.pima.gov/maps/mapguide/ for all jurisdictions.
  • Administrative addresses: Administrative addresses are for permitting purposes only and shall not be used for mailing addresses unless otherwise specified.
