Please submit speaker’s cards to the Commission Recording Secretary.

2. Those wishing to speak must sign in and state name and address.

3. Speakers will have THREE minutes each to present testimony. More time may be granted at the discretion of the Chairman. The Commission requests that they not be repetitive. When there is a large group wishing to speak, it will be appreciated if one or two persons could represent the group.

4. Public hearing will then be closed and debate will be limited to Commission and staff.

5. Commission votes on motion and the outcome is announced.

5) Co7-06-01 PIMA COUNTY – GREEN VALLEY SPECIAL AREA POLICY “S-11 GREEN VALLEY HEIGHT POLICY” EXPANSION MAJOR PLAN AMENDMENT
Request of Pima County on behalf of the Green Valley Community Coordinating Council to amend the Pima County Comprehensive Plan Regional, Rezoning, and Special Area Policies to expand the applicable area of Green Valley for the special area policy “S-11 Green Valley Height Policy”. Special Area Policy S-11 limits the maximum building height to 24 feet and proposes southwestern style architectural design. The subject property is approximately 7,350 acres and is located on the west and east sides of I-19 from Duval Mine Road to Duval Mine Waterline Road and on the west side of I-19 to Elephant Head Road in Sections 1, 2, 3, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 34, 35, 36 of Township 18 South, Range 13 East, Sections 18, 19 of Township 18 South, Range 14 East, and Sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 29, 30 of Township 19 South, Range 13 East in the Upper Santa Cruz Subregion. 12) Co36-06-003 HUBBLE – N. CAMINO ARTURO -- MITIGATION PLAN REVIEW FOR TWO-STORY RESIDENTIAL BUFFER
Request of Paul Hubble for a mitigation plan review for two-story residential buffer to allow a second-story addition to an existing residence located at 6510 N. Camino Arturo, in the CR-1 zone. Section 18.09.110(C) of the Pima County Zoning Code states that the proposed two-story dwelling shall conform to certain standards when it is adjacent to an existing one-story dwelling or the applicant shall submit a mitigation plan review for two-story residential buffer to the Planning and Zoning Commission for their review. The property is located on the east side of Camino Arturo, approximately 800 feet north of Orange Grove Road and ½ mile west of Skyline Drive. (District 1)

ZONING CODE TEXT AMENDMENTS FOR PUBLIC HEARING

13) Co 8-05-03 AMENDMENTS TO ACCESSORY BUILDINGS AND ACCESSORY STRUCTURES
An ordinance of the Pima County Board of Supervisors, relating to zoning; amending the Pima County Zoning Code Title 18 by amending Chapter 18.03 (General Definitions) to add definitions for barn and private aircraft hangar; amending Chapter 18.07 (General Regulations and Exceptions) to allow water pumping and storage facilities related to water utilities in any zone without meeting the size requirements of accessory buildings; modifying Section 18.07.050 (Development Standards Exceptions) to add pedestrian arch gates as an exception from required yard setbacks; and adding standards to Chapter 18.07.060 (Accessory Buildings and Accessory Structures) to provide a size exception for accessory use structures in rural lots, specifically barns, stables and private airport hangars.
