2. Those wishing to speak must sign in and state name and address.
3. Speakers will have THREE minutes each to present testimony. More time may be granted at the discretion of the Chairman. The Commission requests that they not be repetitive. When there is a large group wishing to speak, it will be appreciated if one or two persons could represent the group.
4. Public hearing will then be closed and debate will be limited to Commission and staff.
5. Commission votes on motion and the outcome is announced.

Request of Pima County on behalf of the Green Valley Community Coordinating Council to amend the Pima County Comprehensive Plan Regional, Rezoning, and Special Area Policies to expand the applicable area of Green Valley for the special area policy “S-11 Green Valley Height Policy”. Special Area Policy S-11 limits the maximum building height to 24 feet and proposes southwestern style architectural design. 14) Co8-06-12 GOLF COURSE ZONE TEXT AMENDMENT (CHAPTER 18.59) AND SPECIFIC PLAN TEXT AMENDMENT (CHAPTER 18.90)
An ordinance of the Pima County Board of Supervisors relating to zoning, amending Pima County Zoning Code Title 18, by amending Chapter 18.59 (Golf Course Zone) to: require golf courses established on or after January 1, 2007, to irrigated with directly-served effluent, reclaimed water or Central Arizona Project (CAP) water; to delete the groundwater exception for newly established golf courses whose boundaries are more than three miles from an effluent, reclaimed water or CAP water conveyance system; to require a certificate of compliance for the completion of a golf course; and, by amending Chapter 18.90 (Specific Plans), to require the designation of an underlying or alternative land use and reference to the Golf Course zone when a golf course is used in a new specific plan.
