Initiated by Pima County to amend the Regional Plan Policies of the Pima County Comprehensive Plan regarding establishing rezoning and specific plan concurrency review policies and reviewing strategies for infrastructure and growth area planning. (All Districts).

Request of Robert L. Ackerman , represented by Planning Resources , to amend the Comprehensive Plan from Low Intensity Rural (LIR) to Urban Industrial (I) . The subject property is approximately 10.74 acres and is located on Old Vail Road, approximately 700 feet northwest of the intersection of Old Vail Road and Colossal Cave Road, in the Rincon Southeast / Santa Rita Subregion. C) Co7-04-03 PIMA COUNTY – DAVIS-MONTHAN AIRPORT ENVIRONS MAJOR PLAN AMENDMENT

Pima County initiated amendment to establish Military Airport features for the Comprehensive Plan including review and adjustment of planned land use intensity and establishment of a Special Area Policy following recommendations of the February 2004 Davis-Monthan Air Force Base / Tucson / Pima County Joint Land Use Study, and establishment of a Regional Plan Policy addressing military airports specifically and aviation in general. The unincorporated Pima County portion of the subject area is approximately 1,512 acres located south and southeast of Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in the Rincon Southeast / Santa Rita Subregion.
