Please submit speaker’s cards to the Commission Recording Secretary.

2. Those wishing to speak must sign in and state name and address.

3. Speakers will have THREE minutes each to present testimony. More time may be granted at the discretion of the Chairman. The Commission requests that they not be repetitive. When there is a large group wishing to speak, it will be appreciated if one or two persons could represent the group.

4. Public hearing will then be closed and debate will be limited to Commission and staff.

5. Commission votes on motion and the outcome is announced.

COMPREHENSIVE MAJOR-PLAN AMENDMENT FOR NEW PUBLIC HEARING

11) Co7-04-03 PIMA COUNTY – DAVIS-MONTHAN AIRPORT ENVIRONS MAJOR PLAN AMENDMENT
Proposal by Pima County to amend the Pima County Comprehensive Plan to establish Military Airport features including review and adjustment of planned land use intensity and establishment of a Special Area Policy following recommendations of the February 2004 Davis-Monthan Air Force Base / Tucson / Pima County Joint Land Use Study, and establishment of a Regional Plan Policy addressing military airports specifically and aviation in general. This amendment is applicable to property in the high noise and accident potential zones of the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base military airport. The unincorporated Pima County portion of the subject area is pproximately 5,512 acres located south and southeast of Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in the Rincon Southeast / Santa Rita Subregion (Districts 2 and 4).
