SPEAKING PROCEDURE

1. All speakers will position themselves so they can approach the podium as quickly as possible.
Please submit speaker’s cards to the Commission Recording Secretary.

2. Those wishing to speak must sign in and state name and address.

3. Speakers will have THREE minutes each to present testimony. More time may be granted at the discretion of the Chairman. The Commission requests that they not be repetitive. When there is a large group wishing to speak, it will be appreciated if one or two persons could represent the group.

4. Public hearing will then be closed and debate will be limited to Commission and staff.

5. Commission votes on motion and the outcome is announced.

The request is for a variance for Sunset View Estates, P1299-062, Lots 1-50, to allow four cul de sacs to exceed the maximum 1,000 feet allowed in the CR-1 zoning district for total lengths of 2,100 feet; 1,612 feet; 1,010 feet and 1,200 feet. One cul de sac will also serve 37 lots, more than the 22 lots than allowed.

Request of Pima County for a rezoning of about 9.2 acres from ML (Mount Lemmon) to RVC (Rural Village Center). The subject area is located on the north and south sides of east Turkey Run Road, near its intersection with Sabino Canyon Parkway and on the east and west sides of the northern portion of Sabino Canyon Parkway in the Village of Summerhaven.
