SPEAKING PROCEDURE
1. All speakers
will position themselves so they can approach the podium as quickly
as possible.
Please submit speaker's cards to the Commission Recording Secretary.
2. Those wishing
to speak must sign in and state name and address.
3. The applicant
will speak first and limit presentation to 15 minutes. The applicant
may request and may be granted additional time if Commission is
notified prior to public hearing.
4. Individual
speakers from the audience will have five minutes each to present
testimony. The Commission requests that they not be repetitive.
When there is a large group wishing to speak, it will be appreciated
if one or two persons could represent the group. They may request
and be granted additional time if the Commission Recording Secretary
is notified prior to public hearing.
5. The applicant
will then have five minutes to rebut points raised.
6. Public hearing
will then be closed and debate will be limited to Commission and
staff.
7. Commission
votes on motion and the outcome is announced.
