EXECUTIVE SESSION Conference Room 'D' SPEAKING PROCEDURE 1. All speakers will position themselves so they can approach the podium as quickly as possible. Please submit speaker's cards to the Commission Recording Secretary. 2. Those wishing to speak must sign in and state name and address. 3. The applicant will speak first and limit presentation to 15 minutes. The applicant may request and may be granted additional time if Commission is notified prior to public hearing. 4. Individual speakers from the audience will have five minutes each to present testimony. The Commission requests that they not be repetitive. When there is a large group wishing to speak, it will be appreciated if one or two persons could represent the group. They may request and be granted additional time if the Commission Recording Secretary is notified prior to public hearing. 5. The applicant will then have five minutes to rebut points raised. 6. Public hearing will then be closed and debate will be limited to Commission and staff. 7. No cases to date. 5) Co-19-01-01 INTERNATIONAL MECHANICAL, PROPERTY MAINTENANCE, ENERGY CONSERVATION, AND NATIONAL ELECTRIC CODES Amending ordinance 1999-26 to adopt the 2000 International Mechanical Code, the 2000 International Property Maintenance Code, the 1998 International Energy Conservation Code, and the 1999 National Electric Code adopting local amendments to the 2000 International Mechanical Code, the 2000 International Property Maintenance Code, the 1998 International Energy Conservation Code, and the 1999 National Electric Code, repealing 1994 Uniform Mechanical Code with local amendments, 1997 Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings with local amendments,1994 Uniform Housing Code, 1995 Model Energy Code with local amendments and 1996 National Electric Code with local amendments. 6) Co9-01-04 DE CONCINI - SUNSET BOULEVARD REZONING Request of John De Concini, for a rezoning of 5.03 acres from SR (Suburban Ranch) to CR-1 (Single Residence), located on the east side Sunset Boulevard, approximately ½ - mile south of Irvington Road and 3/4 - mile west of Joseph Avenue. The proposed rezoning conforms to the Pima County Comprehensive Plan Co7-89-2. (District 3)
7) Co9-01-02 MARSHALL/MURRAY - LA CANADA DRIVE REZONING Request of Marshall/Murray, represented by Planning Resources, for a rezoning of 1.66 acres from SH (Suburban Homestead) to TR (Transitional), located at the southwest corner of La Canada Drive and Roller Coaster Drive. The proposed rezoning conforms to the Pima County Comprehensive Plan Co7-89-2. (District 1)
8) Co9-01-06 PENTASCO, L.L.C. - ORANGE GROVE REZONING Request of Pentasco, L.L.C., represented by Lewis and Roca, for a rezoning of 4.9 acres from SR (Suburban Ranch) to TR (Transitional), located on the south side of Orange Grove Road, approximately 1/4 - mile east of La Cholla Boulevard. The proposed rezoning conforms to the Pima County Comprehensive Plan Co7-89-2. (District 1)
9) Co8-99-06 RETAIL CENTERS AND LARGE-SCALE RETAIL ESTABLISHMENTS Proposal to amend the Pima County Zoning Code (Title 18) by adding definitions, development standards and review procedures for Large-scale Retail Establishments, Regional Retail Centers and Neighborhood Retail Centers. The proposed amendment will modify chapters 18.03 (General Definitions); 18.39 (proposed General Commercial Zoning Provisions); 18.41 (RVC Rural Village Center Zone);18.43 (CB-1 Local Business Zone); 18.45 (CB-2 General Business Zone); 18.49 (CPI Campus Park Industrial Zone); 18.51 (CI-1 Light Industrial/Warehousing Zone); 18.53 (CI-2 General Industrial Zone); and 18.75 (Off-Street Parking and Loading Standards) of the Pima County Zoning Code. The proposed amendment will also add development standards and review procedures for residential development in commercial zones by modifying chapters 18.39, 18.43 and 18.45. (All Districts)
