Finding Lighting Code Classifications on DOT Mapguide
Using Mapguide
- http://www.dot.pima.gov/gis/maps/mapguide/
- Read the Disclaimer, you may need to down load
the free Autodesk’s Mapguide.
- Click on "Main Mapguide Map".
- On the upper left Mapguide tool bar, click on the
magnifying glass with the arrow pointing right.
Note, when this magnifying glass is selected, the
"Zoom GoTo" window will appear. This window is used
to locate the property.
- Select "Street Name (DSD Situs Address)" in the
category menu.
- In the location testbox, type in the street name.
- Type in the street name only. Do not indicate
street direction or street suffix i.e.; N. S. E. W.
or Road, Way, etc.
- Change the zoom width box to 1/2 mile (.5).
- Click on the OK button.
- Select the correct address and click the OK button.
- Scroll 3/4th of the way down the left side menu
bar.
- Click on lighting code box and Lighting Code –
Pima County box.
- Use the color code in left menu bar to identify
the Lighting Code classification of the property.
General Information
- The "-" magnifying glass on the Mapguide upper menu allows zoom out
- The "+" magnifying glass functions to zoom in
- The hand on the Mapguide upper menu bar is used to move the map around.
a) Click the hand button.
b) Move the mouse pointer over the
map.
c) Click and hold the left mouse button.
d) Move the map in the direction you
choose.
e) Release the mouse button.
